    Description

    This vintage spoon rest was used in the home I grew up for many years, which testifies to the hardy craftsmanship of this piece. Hand painted, stock hummingbird design (although I've seen the design in squares and in half ovals as well). The spoon rests were common at the time, and they came in a variety of colors. This particular piece has two shades of brown in the handle, and the hummingbird image contains black, orange, and green against a cream background. It has a small hole at the top of the handle to hang on the wall for display.
    Great collector's piece, or a useful tool for the kitchen. Size is 9 1/8" long, 3 3/8" wide at its widest point, and it stands at 1" tall.
